Dunedin / Kaka Point

The next day we travelled to Dunedin, Dunedin is a small city which is known as been very English. Along the way we stopped at kaka point light house, the weather was the worst it had been but we saw some seals down on the rocks so went down to get some better pictures before we went onto the lighthouse.

This is the train station within the city centre

This is the cathedral, it looks ancient but is actually less than a hundred years old.

Dunedin is also famous for having the steepest habited street in the world, once there we decided to test our camper van out and surprisingly it made it!

This actually one of the houses on the street!

Whilst in the area we visited a place called “Jacks Blowhole” this is an area within a field which is 200 metres from the sea but the when the tide is in, the sea rushes in under the ground and smashes on the rocks below.
